I lived in Jakarta, it was 1995. I had a different set of friends, Steven Yang (nothing related to Erin), Andrew Ng, Daniel Teo, Mike Cheung, and a bunch of Chinese girls. We used to think our science teacher was a vampire. Got introduced to existentialism by Mr. Schlutz, Mr. Vahey introduced us to social democracy, and I still hated math. Final Fantasy Six was the best RPG in the world, and still the best today. I was starting CHrono Trigger and finishing our Medieval week. I was a peasant, I wanna be the knight. I guess I have a knight's heart. In four months time, I'll be getting into Magic the Gathering, and into this cute redhead named Karen. But at that time I was still not over from my first blonde crush, Kate. I had this thing for K sounding words, and I also hung around with a bunch of CHinese/half-Chinese friends. Later in 1996 I'll be leaving them for my old set of friends. This was the year where I converted into existentialism because of movies like "12 Monkeys", "Things to do In Denver when You're Dead", and "Akira". I also got into Sailormoon some months later.

5 years ago:
I was in 2nd year, still enjoying my college in UA&P. Still the star performer of my class. Raul and Ian were my best friends, they meant the entire world to me. I did not have a crush or anything back then but I was learning about this girl and I thought she will be the one. In the end she made me wait without any merits. I did not recover until 2001 when I started RPGing and cosplaying. Communism was my edict and existentialism my religion, everything else I bashed with pure prejudice. Cowboy Bebop and Rurouni Kenshin OAV still rocked, and Nadeshico was the best shit ever. Kyo Kusanagi was my hero, I wanted to be like him. Winsento Kusanagi was born, who will later become Sento Kaneshiro. L'Arc-en-CIel was the best band, nobody in school liked L'arc only I. Next year I'll be entering the life which I lead until now. From my friends now, I only knew Ricki Buzon. I set up Mage campaigns and D&D campaigns every now and then. Vagrant Story and Front Mission were still the best owning RPGs. I also got into Diablo. And I owned with my AK47 in Counterstrike.

1 year ago:
Erin just rejected me (but not for the final time), it felt like the final time. I fucking bombed office after. I received my worst penalty, I hoped to get fired to start life anew. It was the worst time of my life, the worst time of the year. I did not recover until December. Naruto and Edward Elric were my heroes and my friends rocked. We were playing Priston Tale but I didn't continue it because of high dollar prices. We were to play Risk Your Life in a month. My band was my life. Erl just joined and we were learning how to play Go and My Life. Asian Kung-fu Generation was the best shit. I met Cesca four months before and eight months in the future. I thought that it was the still the worst time of my life, I did not know that it will get worse. Ragnarok the Animation project will start in 15 days where I will meet Sherwin and eventually introduce me to Full Moon wo Sagashite. That anime will eventually change my life and save it.

yesterday:
YD reunion. Deo's birthday. Half-life after 3 years, my score was 67 kills 108 deaths, not bad since I've been playing the best of MACU and AMA university. Band practice. Mimie is a better drummer than me, and its okay since i can finally sing. Pusoy dos, without much luck but that's okay. Spaghetti was cool. Cookie crumble ice cream rocks. Need to watch Bleach, I'm episodes behind. Naruto is winning the ratings war but I doubt it will sustain during Slam Dunk. I will have a mini-holiday on Friday which I would use to get my diploma and end my current madness.

tomorrow:
I have editing at 10, cashing out my money at 11, having lunch, reporting to my boss, fixing the last minute things, following up research, following up my materials, editing mrbean and everything else. Days left until Friday: 3. Need to buy Speed Grapher episodes. Which reminds me, need to watch Yakitate Japan.

-Put out $30 million for my seven masterpiece indie films and $10 million in the bank so I can just live off the interest
-Put $10 million in a separate checking account so I can fund all my hobbies
-Donate 30 million to whatever cause
